Why This Exists
New Mexico public-records law, including the Inspection of Public Records Act, gives the public a way to inspect many government records. The hard part is knowing where a McKinley County inmate record begins. MCADC custody, a Sheriff Records Division request, a New Mexico Courts case search, an NMCD offender search, a BOP lookup, an ICE locator search, and Navajo Nation custody can all answer different questions.
McKinley County Inmate Population is organized around those differences. It focuses on the county jail in Gallup, the Navajo Department of Corrections Crownpoint District Adult Facility, state corrections records, federal custody tools, and court records after arrest. It is meant to reduce confusion between current local custody, a court charge, a booking photo request, and a sentenced-prison search.

- We cannot provide legal advice or act as a lawyer, court clerk, jail employee, or records custodian.

Any official action or confirmation must come from the office that maintains the record or controls the custody decision.
Search Partners
Some pages may include search boxes or links supplied by third-party research providers. Those providers may set their own prices, account rules, search limits, and result displays. If a visitor signs up for a paid partner tool after using a link from this site, McKinley County Inmate Population may receive a referral fee. That support helps keep the site available, but it does not give us control over partner pricing, data handling, or search results.
